FBA for CPS-1, CPS-2 and Neo Geo games, a mix of FBA and MAME for everything else. LucasArts point and click games: ScummVM.Īrcade/Neo Geo: FBA 2012/MAME cores. Also there is a VR Chip 8 emulator for google cardboard. You can use a NES or SNES homebrew emulator for PSP in PPSSPP to play those games (I have seen a thread on this if you google or search the sub reddit). Haven't had major problems with it so far. As far as I know, those are the only emulators to support google cardboard or VR mode in android. IMO, the only GBA emulator worth considering on the Wii. It handles GB/GBC games better than mGBA from my experience. Allow us to get better hardware to develop on, and help us being able to. Has been working perfectly for me so far, have nothing bad to say about it. It's generally more stable and performant than Wii64/Not64. If you intend on playing light gun games, use the standalone emulator. I prefer the RA core because of the snappier UI (saving and loading states is faster it allows you to map quick save/quick load to buttons too) and added graphical options. They seem identical performance and compatibility-wise. Also, the standalone emulator seems to handle resolutions better and detects game region automatically. Last time I tried the RA core, it took way longer time to load Sega CD games compared to the standalone emulator. Master System/Genesis/Game Gear/Sega CD: Genesis Plus GX.
GETTING SNES EMULATORS ON GEAR VR UPDATE
It is generally not recommended to update emulators, as the Retroid.

Also included is a single RetroArch (1.5.0) app, exclusively for the best performing GBA (gpSP) Core.
GETTING SNES EMULATORS ON GEAR VR ANDROID
TurboGrafx-16/TurboGrafx-CD: Mednafen PCE Fast RA. The Android OS on the RP2 comes pre-installed with standalone Emulator apps and RetroArch (1.8.4), a single application with the ability to emulate many systems cores. It supports light gun games, has seemingly less input lag than Nestopia/FCEUMM RA (seems easier to time jumps and control Mario midair in SMB) and also better compatibility than those RA cores (Nestopia struggles with rom hacks, FCEUMM struggles with 3D Worldrunner). Haven't tried alternatives, but I haven't had any problems with this emulator. Here are my two cents based on what I use:Ītari 2600: Stella RA. Totally blown away, really well done and is so much more than just a warped VR emulator.
